PROJECT DESCRIPTION

DESIGN AND CONSTRUCT LEAD FOR SIGNIFICANT DEFENCE WORKS

PSG Holdings has been designated as the lead on this project which focuses on upgrading vital service infrastructure throughout the entire base, tackling the challenges of aging structures across eight work elements: the High Voltage power network, Base Emergency Power, Waterfront Security, Sewerage network, Potable Water network, Car parking, Jervis Bay Range Facility (JBRF) Security and Wardroom plumbing. Successful execution involves integrating, replacing and upgrading existing site service infrastructure and demand meticulous coordination with EMOS, Defence representatives and other stakeholders.

To addressing the simultaneous execution of construction projects throughout the site, efficient cooperation and strong collaboration with key stakeholders is paramount. Ensuring continuous communication throughout the design, planning and delivery phases is a top priority. This commitment enables to achieve seamless completion of all construction works, minimizing inconvenience, disruptions and delays. Amidst the operational defense base’s high trainee volume, the project places paramount importance on minimizing disruptions to base and facility operations.

Additionally, to mark the commencement of this project, our team participated in a traditional smoking ceremony to highlight the ongoing connection to culture the local Indigenous community has in the area and showcase our commitment to integrating Indigenous culture and community in our projects.
